Mental Health training online and face to face- MHFA England Certified Courses

Hi, I'm Rekha Kapoor

I've spent years working as both a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and a trained nurse, and what I've learned is this: mental health support shouldn't feel clinical or intimidating. It should feel like having a conversation with someone who genuinely gets it.

My journey into mental health training began when I realised how many people were struggling in silence, not knowing where to turn or how to help themselves—or their colleagues, friends, and family. That's what led me to specialise in evidence-based approaches like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and complete Oxford University's "Finding Peace in a Frantic World" course. These aren't just certificates on my wall; they're tools that have genuinely helped people find their footing when life feels overwhelming.

As an accredited Instructor Member with MHFA England, I'm approved to deliver both Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses. I stay connected with the Association of Mental Health First Aiders, which keeps me up-to-date with the latest approaches and ensures I'm always learning alongside the people I teach. I also follow the Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers because, well, if we're going to do this work, we should do it right.

What Gets Me Up in the Morning

My mission is pretty straightforward: I want to help teams and individuals feel more confident and connected when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable talking about mental health—not just during a crisis, but as part of everyday life. When people feel equipped with the right knowledge and tools, they can take better care of themselves and support others too.

How I Work: Inspire • Support • Motivate

Everything I do is built around four core values that embody my tagline—to inspire, support, and motivate:

Empowerment – I'm here to build your knowledge and confidence, inspiring you to trust your own abilities rather than making you feel like you need to depend on someone else to figure things out.

Inclusivity – My training sessions are designed to be welcoming spaces where everyone feels they belong, providing the support needed regardless of their background or experience with mental health.

Growth – Whether you're looking to develop personally or want to create positive changes in your organization, I believe we're all capable of learning and evolving. I'm here to motivate that journey forward.

Presence – Through mindfulness techniques, I help people reduce stress, sharpen their focus, and improve their emotional wellbeing. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply be present with ourselves and others, which both inspires calm and supports emotional resilience.
